This course is designed for students to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to work as a Nail Technician. Our students will be on the leading edge of all new fashion and trends in the nail industry. When leaving our program our students will be able to start their career as Nail Technician offering artificial nail enhancements, manicure and pedicure services. Graduates may choose to further their career by starting their own business, become an independent contractor, work in spas, hair salons or take further education to become an instructor following industry experience.
- Graduates of Grade 12 or 19 years of age or older. Will accept students less than 19 years of age with parental consent; parental consent must be given by signing of Emerald College contract.
- Candidates must provide a copy of photo ID, a current resume, and 500 word essay; tell us about yourself, why you are pursuing this career choice, your short term and long term goals, and your plans for your career in the future.
- This is an unmarked essay to be read by the Senior Administrator and Senior Educational Administrator.
